Staying Mentally Sharp | Free Class

Join us for this exciting new class where students will use the fun, electronic based Brain HQ exercises that are specially designed by Posit Science. Along with lecture and discussion, students in this class will sharpen their senses, resulting in a noticeable impact on memory, thinking and focus! Exercising the brain is a key to healthy and successful health.  Classes will be here at Good Shepherd. There will be two separate class sessions:

Day Trip | Thursday, September 14th

Our first stop will be at the internationally acclaimed furniture studio of Sam and Alfreda Maloofs Foundation for Arts and Crafts in Alta Loma. We will have a docent guided tour of this famous resident museum where he lived and worked. We will then have lunch at "The Magic Lamp Inn" on Historic Route 66. Folowing lunch we will travel to the Pomona area to visit the American Museum of Ceramic Art. Cost is $69/person which includes lunch. Sign up at the Sr. Adult Ministry table.

Traces of Grace | Writing Your Story

Have you noticed the desire growing within you to write your life stories? Have your children or grandchildren asked you, "Can you tell that story to me again, the one about..."? At last you'll have an opportunity for the stories of your life to unfold. Come join us for a time of storytelling in a new class "Traces of Grace: Writing the Stories of Your Life. Fit & Faithful
