Here is the Study Guide on Hebrews 12.12-17 for Sunday, February 19th.

You will find the author striving to encourage the weary Hebrew Christians to run the race of faith, caring for those who are straggling behind, encouraging one another, and avoiding the temptation to drop out of the race. It's good encouragement for us all as we strive to trust in Jesus and follow his leadership in our lives. It's also a good reminder of how important it is to encourage one another.

We are approaching the beginning of Lent - a time for us to re-focus our attention on Jesus "who, for the joy set before him, endured the cross, scorning its shame" for you and for me. Ash Wednesday is February 22nd. There will be an opportunity to gather for worship with the imposition of ashes as an entry into the season of Lent.
