Study Guide | Jonah 1.1-3
Hi friends,
This weekend we kick off a number of new opportunities for our congregation and community: the Foundations course, SHIFT, and a brand new 5pm Saturday evening worship gathering!
At all three of our worship gatherings, Saturday at 5pm as well as Sunday at 8:45 & 10:30am, we are also beginning a new study in the Book of Jonah. While it may be commonly thought of as a cute children's story, Jonah is rich with theological, missiological, and spiritual insights - for all ages!
Here is the study guide on Jonah 1.1-3. It's been designed to foster conversation in small groups, though, there is a lot of material to wade through. That said, if there are questions that aren't necessary helpful for your or your group, feel free to move along to the next section - especially if time is a factor! And if you aren't yet connected in a small group, e-mail Pastor Paul at or give him a ring at 562/493.2553 x116, so he can get you connected with one!
I look forward to seeing you Sunday... or Saturday!
Curtis
