Foundations: Old Testament Introduction

Foundations is a weekly Sunday morning class designed to build and strengthen Christian faith. Over a two-year period a series of core topics will be presented and discussed. Like the A, B, C’s, these are the foundational items needed to progress in the language of faith.

Participants who finish the entire 8-part class will receive a Certificate of Completion and be recognized in a Good Shepherd worship gathering. Others may wish to sign up only for certain topics.

The eight parts of the class are: Old Testament Introduction, New Testament Introduction, The Story of Scripture, Christian Beliefs, Apologetics, Church History, Spiritual Formation/Disciplines, and Spiritual Gifts.

Old Testament Introduction begins on Sunday, April 15th, and will conclude Sunday, June 10th. Foundations meets in Room 4 (The Round Room) on the Good Shepherd church campus. Two, identical classes are held each Sunday morning at 8:45 and 10:30am.

There is no charge for the class, though there may be a minimal cost for materials. Financial assistance is available.
